Our message consists of proven principles, but it also erupts with energy and hilarity!

With our original creation, H.E.R.O.s, Jester Puppets showcases a vast array of characters, including Captain Obvious, Recycle Rabbit and Pizza Boy.  The silly and zany puppets present a variety of situations which call for insight from the kids.  In these situations, kids are able to share ideas on respect, bullying, cyber-bullying and caring for the environment around them.

Kids are an integral part of the H.E.R.O.s show.  From beginning to end, they provide the energy which powers the non-stop performance.  Through discussion, observation and role-playing, the kids learn what to do should they encounter a bullying situation.  And they learn well...  One young lady from Wonder Kids in Clive, IA emphatically stated to the crowd, “It doesn’t matter what color your skin is.  It only matters what’s on the inside!”

Jester Puppets performs at many public libraries, day care facilities and schools throughout the Midwest.

Since the H.E.R.O.s debut in 2015, this show has been performed for thousands of kids.

And what did they think of H.E.R.O.s?

The kids “got the message without lecturing us about it.”

Mary Pease, West Central Valley Middle School

“Loved the no bullying message! And the interaction with the kids…they all wanted to interact/participate with you!”

Maura Marsh, Director Coon Rapids Public Library

“You kept the children entertained, engaged and involved.

Can’t wait until next year.”

Carole Dailey, Director Lied Public Library
